Class benefits

Our classes help babies and children work and develop the skills needed to reach their full potential at each stage of development.

Classes start from birth all the way to 5 years (start of school).

Gaining strength, coordination, learning essential skills such as balance or jumping and working on the inhibition of primitive reflexes are some of the many benefits GymbaROO children gain.

Centre information

We are based at the New Lambton Scout Hall.

Our opening hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.20am to 3.30pm.

Parking information

Free car space available in the streets surrounding the hall.

Pricing

$210 for a 10 week term.

Fees are pro-rata, so you’ll pay what weeks are left of the term when you join.

Teachers

Ana. She’s the teacher and centre manager at GymbaROO Newcastle. She is from Spain but hasn’t lived there since 2008, although loves going back as often as possible to visit her family and friends. She has two children aged 5 and 8, and learnt about GymbaROO when she started taking her firstborn to classes in Sydney. She’s a positive and energetic teacher and loves seeing the development in the children after just few weeks at the centre!

Jenna. She’s our assistant and makes sure the centre is up to speed between classes, the climbing and large gym equipment ready for each developmental group and also helps the teacher during toddler classes. Jenna has also started her GymbaROO teacher training and teaches part of some classes as her training. She’s from Tamworth and is passionate about children development.

Trials

We offer two types of trial classes:

Babies from 6 weeks to walking are offered an introductory class free of charge. Just contact us to arrange your booking.

Toddlers and children are offered a 3 consecutive week trial for $75. Three weeks allow to understand the program and see its benefits. Children start getting used to the structure and feel comfortable with the equipment and activities.

Can I join GymbaROO classes anytime during the term?

Yes, you don’t have to wait for a new term to start to join in. We welcome you anytime!

What do I need to bring to the classes?

As little as possible. Comfortable clothes for you and your baby/child, water to keep hydrated and your treasure bag item for the week.

Babies in the Platypus class will also need to bring a baby blanket.

Do you offer make up classes?

Yes, we do. Make up classes must be taken within the current term and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Can I book casual classes?

We only offer term enrolments (anytime during the term) or a 3 week trial package.

Can two carers attend?

Yes, we enjoy having family coming along and seeing the progress little ones make. However, if the class is at capacity, we’ll ask extra carers to watch the class from outside the mat area.
