Creating Foundations for Learning
In our Wombat classes we provide activities that help your now active baby learn how to control their bodies in different ways as they stimulate their brains and create the foundations for learning.
This class is faster and more challenging than the Platypus class and more emphasis is placed on body awareness, movement, and participation, as well as new fun skills like climbing and exploring!
- Master commando crawling
- Creep on hands and knees
- Pull up on furniture
- Cruise holding onto furniture
- Play peek-a-boo
- Begin to clap hands and wave
- Sit up unassisted
- Creep up stairs
- Pick up and let go of objects
- Start to throw things
- Laugh, chuckle and squeal
- Take first steps
